Pressed Flowers
Fresh flowers wilt and fade soon after they’re picked. Pressing them and drying them preserves their beauty much longer.

What you’ll need:
- Freshly picked wildflowers with a flat blossom (buttercup, daisy, cornflower, wild rose, etc.)
- 2 flat smooth bricks, rocks or big heavy books
- 2 pieces of waxed paper cut to fit the size and shape of the book or bricks
- 2 pieces of paper towel cut to fit the size and shape of the bricks or books
How to use it:
Glue it to plain or colored notepaper to make your own stationary.
Glue it to a folded card to make a greeting card.
Press it between strips of clear tape to make a bookmark.
Press it between strips of clear tape to make a suncatcher and hang it in your window.
Glue it to a safety pin to make jewelry.
Tips:
The quicker the flowers dry, the brighter they’ll be.
